This movie blows. Plain and simple. When I saw it in the theater, I thought it was okay. I just rented the video and saw it again. Damn, was I wrong. I fast-forwarded through the "tension" scenes and left it running when I went to get lunch. The only entertaining parts are the ones with Buffy and Randy, and those are all painfully short. Most of the time we have to watch the most uninteresting charachter, Sidney, fumble with her lines and act disturbed. To top it off, there's the loyal boyfriend, Derek. He's as bad as Neve and just straight out boring. I kept hoping that the portal from "Sliders" would open up and suck him in, but it never happened. Dewey, Cotton, and Gale were okay, but they all could have been better. Joel, the camera man, was pretty cool, but he only has a few lines. Bottom line: this movie destroys the reputation the first one created.
