02/10/00: Hey Beast

LOL...I think T_M's tastes run more to jangly college-rock with girl singers. Like, say, Throwing Muses.

Speaking of which, TM, I got ahold of a copy of the Live To Tape promo CD which was only available for a really limited time on the Rykodisc website after Limbo was released. Features four-track, live to tape (duh) versions of "Shark", "Serene", "Night Driving", "Bright Yellow Gun", "Bea", and one other song I can't remember right now. Oh, "Ruthie's Knocking"! How did I forget that one.

I hate to tell you this since I know you're too far away to make it out here, but the Bernard Georges-era Muses (ie, no Tanya) are reuniting for a one-off show in Boston on May 6! Kristin's also going to play a solo acoustic show for the people with all-day passes. I'd die to go, but that's right before finals week and I don't know anyone around these parts who likes the Muses...and I'm certainly not driving out to Boston by myself when I've never been there. I'm sure a few boots will surface though, Kristin and her husband/manager are really cool about recording live shows.
