When the authors used the word "enormity" in the first paragraph, did they mean "the quality or state of being immoderate, monstrous, or outrageous; especially : great wickedness" or merely "the quality or state of being huge"? You see, this is what happens when the misuse of a word becomes commonplace. I can't understand what anybody is saying anymore.
