This great city is being convulsed by riot and disorder, and you seem to welcome it solely as a matter for celebration on the grounds that it will cause difficulty for Lord North's administration. You should take care about that sort of levity, for someday you may be hoist with your own petard.
Yes, I know, it's probably not a good idea to speak of bombs at a time like this.
It still seems -- well -- unseemly to gloat over the King's government's difficulties, even if we are ranged against it, and even if we would welcome on grounds of the general good that administration's fall. And you really ought to curb your mockery of the King. Whatever his problems, he *is* the King, after all.
