I agree completely with this opinion. Every single thing that made an impression on this person did the same for me. I was stunned by such dialogue, i had never expected that any film would bore through me with each phrase. Everything resonated. My emotions actually reacted to this film. In answer to your question- Naked is a critique of the dismantling of Britain and it is a warning about the consequences of such policy. This path has left people disaffected, uncaring, grasping and thoughtless. If there is a message about an apocalypse it is that we are indeed a "crap idea". We deserve a horrible end. I read a review which criticised Leigh's characterisations as "tired". I love this the most. I see in Leigh's Naked honesty. Its courageous.
