I thought it was an extremely good movie. Sure enough I hoped someone in the movie was going to shoot the mother and daughter - but I know whiners who sound just like them. Overall it is the grittiness I liked. UK movies have this realism that the vast majority of US movies don't. Could be to do with lower budgets! And I liked the overall theme - secrets and lies can destroy families.
