Breakfast: A bowl of Quaker Instant Grits with Real Butter. God, I'm glad I lived long enough to see the invention of these. Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.
Lunch: A can of Campbells Chunky Split Pea with Ham Soup, with two ounces of tortilla chips added.
Dinner: Six large (Hell, there not THAT big) barbequed shrimp with a small helping of rice and broccoli. Note that the non-dieting coaster used to eat around 20 to 30 large shrimp at a meal. True.
Hanrocks, I cannot eat six small meals per day. If I did that, I'd be thinking of food all day long and it would torture me to death. I've tried the six small meals thing before, and it just doesn't work for me. It's better that I eat three small to moderate meals like a normal person. If I sleep in late, as I do sometimes on weekends, I'll likely skip breakfast and cut my intake to two small to moderate meals on those days.
It was raining so the bicycle stayed in the garage. I did use a Mr. Cranky tip and parked at the far end of the parking lot when my wife and I went to Wal-Mart ("Killing local character by putting mom and pop stores out of business since 1963"). The bicycle gets a workout tonight. Neighborhood kids: Fear My Schwinn!
It is already easier to button my pants and I am feeling pretty decent. I'll have to watch that, though. "Pistol" Pete Maravich's last words, after playing a pick-up basketball game with some locals were, "Let's do this again, I feel great."
