10/10/01: I almost set fire to my house this morning...

I left a bagel in the toaster, took a shower, got out, only to find my bagel in flames!! Apparently it was supposed to pop right up when it was done, but it never did, and it just stood there and smoldered until my whole fucking house was filled with smoke. So I had to ventilate the place before I left for class...

And it's only 10 in the morning. I wonder what else could go wrong today...
