Well, it depends on what you mean by "true love." I think oftentimes people think that heavy infatuation = true love. I don't think that's correct myself. And so I'm not sure what "true love" means, so I can't say if I think it exists. Truthfully, I don't really care if it's "true" love or not. Being happy with someone and loving them is way more than sufficient. The kind of flowery, girly-romance-novel prince-on-the-white-horse fantasy is strictly for 14 year old girls and really swishy gay guys. :P

Looks and personality both factor into it, though not necessarily in exactly the ways you might expect. The last two chicks I've been attracted to have been somewhat overweight, though both of them VERY pretty, and above average intelligence.

There's this girl I like... I'm considering paying for her college tuition just to keep her from being deported. (She's here on a educational visa - gets kicked out if she stops going to school full time.) I'm not an overtly friendly person, but when I am friends with someone, my loyalty is nearly absolute. It's if anything more intense for girlfriends. This can be bad, actually, since it can scare people.

A stalker AND the subject of unrequieted love? Like, at the same time, even? Talk about screwed up love triangles! I don't think I've ever been heavy stalker. A little once in a while. Subject of unrequieted love sometimes too. That sucks. I hate that. I know what it's like for the other person far too well.

Neither, actually. I'm not PDA-averse, nor do I feel much of a need to do it myself.

Definitely easier when I'm rebounding. Alcohol doesn't seem to make a difference one way or another.

I live a pretty open life. I know my weaknesses, and I attempt not to have any pretensions. It doesn't embarass me to share this stuff. What's the worst you can do, laugh at me? I've been a creek/feak/loser (thanks Aron) my whole life. I've been laughed at by hundreds of people. It doesn't bother me any more - I stopped giving a shit about what people I don't care about think of me a good while back. Remember the words of Peter Steele: "Base not your happiness on the actions of others. What is given may be taken away. No hope = No fear."
