Well, there is of course the fact that the time of the dark horse movie (started with the Crying Game, give or take) is basically over. Well, OK, just on sabbatical. The sad fact is, Serenity was a great movie with all the star power of a 3 year-old's projector planitarium. Now, if the Operative had been, oh say, Freddy Prinze Junior...
