You are correct about convenor. He is more interested in namecalling and waging personal attacks than he is in actual facts or having discussions.
convenor is correct that it's wrong for Bush/Cheney to support corporate welfare for Enron. However, convenor is unwilling to criticize Clinton/Gore for giving corporate welfare to Enron. This proves that convenor is more interested in saying bad things about Republicans than he is in discussing actual ideas.
Here's a typical electricity thread started by convenor. Please note that he is more interested in namecalling than he is in actual facts. Also, please note that I use facts to correct convenor's errors. And, please note that convenor totally ignores my posts in this thread. In addition, please note that convenor is unwilling to criticize his political allies for doing the same things that he is willing to criticize his political enemies for doing:
