convenor, you're criticizing OTHER people for 'mindless repetition'? That's really rich. Especially considering this is the third week in a row you've posted that masturbatory little list of yours. Not to mention those endless Enron posts which seem, mercifully, to have ceased for the moment.
Anyways, let me do everyone a favour and explain something to you. It should be pretty obvious, but you don't seem bright enough to realize it. Maybe you grew up under high- voltage lines, or ate paint chips as a child. I don't know. Anyways, here it comes:

For all I know, everything you say here could be 100% correct. I don't even follow US politics. Whether you're right or wrong is irrelevant to me. I dislike you not because of what you say, but because of how you say it. To put it another way, you're an asshole of the highest order. The sneering tone of your posts, your way of instantly insulting anyone who disagrees with you, your sanctimoniousness...THAT is what I object to. Not your political opinions.
So, when I make a post insulting you for being such a intolerant, snide dickhead (which I will continue to do as long as you continue to be one), PLEASE take it for what is (a personal attack) rather than an attempt to debate with you. I hope I've made that clear enough to you. Unfortunately I'm not able to draw you a pretty picture with lots of colours to further clarify my point.
