"So the media was Pro-Clinton?"
Maybe.
Clinton had very close ties to Enron. But the media largely ignored that.
"I think a case can be made that the media has given Dubya a lot more slack than they gave Mr. Can't-keep-it- zipped. Especially true after the 9/11 thingie."
I agree.
"Mugabe could have enacted land reform without killing his farm economy."
You are correct.
For every white farm owner, there were 50 to 100 blacks who worked on the farm. These blacks were highly educated and very skilled at farming. They knew about all of the latest, modern technology. But Mugabe kicked these skilled blacks off the farms. Mugabe gave the land to his black friends who know nothing about farming.
"From now on, whenever the ACLU does something commendable, I'm going to post it. By the way, did you hear that they took an acive part in having the Ashcroft's secret immigration trials opened to the public?"
No, I didn't hear about it. But I agree with the ACLU on this one.
The ACLU is very good at protesting against government violations of personal and civil liberties. I never criticized them on that area.
"And thanks for posting that *old* crap about media bias (that really is the first time I'd read that)."
OK. You didn't ignore it before. I was wrong. I apologize.
"Speaking of which, Bias, by Goldberg, sits unread on my kitchen table."
I know. You shoplifted it in early April. You said that you were going to read it:
