08/27/02: So the media was Pro-Clinton?

1. I think a case can be made that the media has given Dubya a lot more slack than they gave Mr. Can't-keep-it- zipped. Especially true after the 9/11 thingie.

2. It's a shame, really. Mugabe could have enacted land reform without killing his farm economy. But I think Mugabe is lazy, stupid, opportunistic and mean. Too bad the people of Zimbabwe will have to pay for Mugabe's mistakes. They could have used a leader with a little bit of vision directed in places other than maintaining his own power base.

3. The ACLU is NOT anti-Christian. From now on, whenever the ACLU does something commendable, I'm going to post it. By the way, did you hear that they took an acive part in having the Ashcroft's secret immigration trials opened to the public? The government could produce no compelling reason for these trials to be held in secret. Big surprise there. Score one for the good guys.

4. And thanks for posting that *old* crap about media bias (that really is the first time I'd read that). Speaking of which, Bias, by Goldberg, sits unread on my kitchen table. Stop by, I'll loan it to you.
