Alright, you know the movie sucks when we get to talking politics.
I happen to be registered Republican(that's the conservative American party for all you Aussies) in this great country, but that doesn't mean I'm a diehard capitalist. I view America's exploitation and eradication of the Native American population as not evil or heroic, but imperialistic. Imperialism and slavery have been a part of man's existance as long as there have been men. Its not a good thing, but it is not unheard of nor is it going to disappear. My family came from Germany in the 1700s to escape religious persecution. They settled in Pennsylvania and never owned slaves. They were pacifists, so they never fought in wars. So, I don't feel the need to buy into all this "white guilt" crap.
