From the Oxford English Dictionary;
MAN, man, n. a human being; mankind etc.
I can understand your point but my use of English was correct (for once). I had though about using Man*kind* but we're not to a great extent.

You'll have to excuse the depression in my previous posts as I was stuck in work on a Sat/Sun morning banging my head against a very expensive piece of scientific equipment. Which of course was refusing to work - reliability being inversely proportional to capital cost. I do agree with what you have put, but I have enough trouble fighting my own demons let alone combating the ones facing the earth. So I'll leave it to more appropriate people, like you, to fight the good fight and I'll do my best not to make things worse.
Thanks for the info. I'll have a shufty at it when I get time. The question as to whether we have a spiritual aspect to our existance and when it evolved is an interesting one. I believe in the spirituality of man but as to how far back its existance goes is another matter.
