I see your problem. We now have a lovely new liberal govt. - like the american republicans. I hate them, They want to privatise everything and make us into a capitalist society. Just as australia were starting to realise the true horror of our past and regret it. In comes Howard (the new pm), and announces yesturday that australia's heritage was not one of racism imperialism exploitation and sexism but one of heroism.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
To be sure, it is a heroic past but it is ALSO one of racism imperialism exploitation and sexism.
Liberal bastard. This attitutde will just alienate everyone who isn't rich and anglo and male. All other areas of society have just been denied their respective struggles.
