I think Gwenny died for envy. Kevin Spacey was envious of Brad Pitt, so he killed the chick. Then Spacey died for wrath after Pitty found out about it. So all seven sins did have a corresponding death to them, only the last two were connected. I'm not really sure why Fincher, or whoever the hell wrote this, decided to leave envy and wrath to the very end. I mean, Devil's Advocate's message, one of many, was that pride was the greatest of all sins. I guess it's all about perspective...
In general though, very cool movie.
