There were a lot of people who claimed to have been disgusted and offended by this film; I suppose that having seen multiple deaths on screen for so many years, I've been a bit desensitized. I suppose the creativity that went into the killings was a little too innovative, but I still thought it was a fantastic ending. Paltrow's head in a box was probably not what we were expecting, although I'm sure there were some of us who knew the platinum toothpick was going to get snapped eventually. Besides, I could watch both Morgan Freeman and Kevin Spacey do dishes and be artistically satisfied.
