Pride and Prejudice is what it is. I've never actually seen an movie adaptations of Jane Eyre, but so far I could see them doing a decent job with it. On the other hand, I have trouble believing a movie version of P and P could keep anyone who hasn't read the book awake. It's just not movie material.
