Putting any comments down here would be a waste of kilobytes since you pretty much summed up exactly how I feel about this movie... and much better than Mr. Cranky who seemed fairly unfazed by the sheer beauty that is Rachel Leigh Cook. However, I can say that it is possible to enjoy this movie if your reeeeeeeeeeeeeealllly drunk. I actually found the falafal ball jokes funny rather than painful in their lack of wit and originality when the world was spinning around after a few swigs from my buddy Jack. Then when that surreally dumb prom dance number featuring that retchingly catchy "Right About Now" song came on, I thought it was cool. Maybe there should be an open bar in theaters showing PG-13 teen movies just so more discerning viewers can lose their discernment and actually look for a way to enjoy themselves. Yeah... but wouldn't that do more for alchoholism than movies like this ever did? Oh well...
