Which means that the consoles actually cost more then $600 each to make, yet the system's still not selling because it's too expensive. Sony made a mistake by using the Blu-Ray technology for its gaming system - gamers and people who want high-def DVD systems often are the same people, but that's not a very large group of people yet (especially since PS3 doesn't seem significantly better then X-Box 360 or Wii as a gaming system).
