I just received a letter from the Cornell Vet College's Baker Institute for Animal Health telling me that my vet had made a donation on my behalf for a special reason that some of you know about.
He goes beyond the call of duty. I mean, I realized I kept him in business last year, but still... I think I'm in love. :-)
Well, thanks to the nice kitty getting chronically ill, I'll get to see him and the wonderful gals in the office often for some time to come.
Seriously, how many vets do that? He also gave me a $100 check one time when I came in with my Second Chance shirt on to give to the wildlife center.
