"Meanwhile, the Palm Beach Post reported on Wednesday that Dennis Newman, one of Gore's leading men in pushing for the counting of dimpled chads in the election results, was vehemently opposed to them being use in the final tally of a 1996 election in which he represented a Democratic Congressional candidate ahead by a slim margin of votes."
That makes the Democrats look bad, why couldn't Dennis Newman have simply said to the DNC, "Psst, hey guys, do you think you could get somebody else down here to push for the dimpled ballot thing. I kinda said exactly the opposite thing four years ago and it would be a shame if say, the Palm Beach Post remembered that and ran a story about it."
Am I the only one who actually gets aggravated at my party when they f**k up, instead of waiting to hear how they're gonna "spin" it and then just accepting their explanation?
