Chocobo breeding has got to be the most worthless feature of any FF game. I must admit that Knights of the Round is a very visually impressive materia, but the time involved in getting it makes it kind of pointless. The only part of the game which would even begin to require the kind of power that KoTR gives you would be when you are fighting the Ruby and Emerald weapons. However, even they are overrated. There is actually absolutely no point in beating Ruby Weapon, since the only reward for doing so is a Gold Chocobo, which you need to get KoTR, which is pretty much the only way you can beat him in the first place! Even more insulting, I raced the gold chocobo I won in the battle and it was worse than the one I already had! So unless you are getting KoTR to get the Master Materia from Emerald, I wouldn't even bother.
