Now......my memory's not always that great, but WAS THERE A SINGLE MOMENT OF TENSION, EXCITEMENT OR INTRIGUE IN THIS MOVIE? Was I just asleep, or what? Why make a movie this lethargically dull? How hard can it be to insert a scene or two that would actually interest the audience?
As far as I'm concerned, this movie can get the f--- out of theaters asap. I'd rather sit through Armaggedon again (as long as you give me a strong horse tranquilizer before the previews end) than have to watch this movie.
I think a good rule of thumb for knowing which movies to avoid would be.........ANYTHING STARRING NICK CAGE. I actually thought he did a good job in City of Angels, though, so maybe he's a sure-fire indicator of sub-mediocrity.
