On the Tonight Show the other day, the first submission for "Headlines" was an envelope addressed to "White House, President George W. Bush, 1600 Pennsilvania Ave, Washington DC," etc... Next to that the Post Office stuck a yellow sticker: "Return to Sender. Unknown occupant. Unknown address."
What the hell? Did Bush piss off the Postmaster General, so he stopped Dubya's mail service? How can the White House not exist? That's just too weird.
In the time that the Post Office released those Star Wars stamps I've only sent out 13 pieces of mail (I bought a second sheet to "collect" and since the rate is going up 1 cent I guess I'll just hang onto it. I've also got a pile of those "Forever" stamps too. (Lets see how long "Forever" really is as defined by the US government.))
