05/10/07: Well, actors get the fan base, & most people think in terms of personality.

All a presidentail candidate has to do is give a powerful speech, say the right things, and have a candidate running against him that ain't worth much.

On the other handm it can go the opposite as well. Kerry was obviously the better man for the job and Bush still won. People just didn't wanna take the chance that a new president wouldn't make the situation worse than it already was.

The clincher for me was that Kerry had been in a war, and Bush had avoided war service. You be the judge.
