I'll be the first to admit that I loved Black Adder and Red Dwarf. Hysterical stuff. But come on, how hard is it to make 6 episodes a year and make sure that they are quality? In the US they have to pump out 20-26 a year, naturally half a utter crap.
Comparing comedy movies is another game altogther. I haven't seen anything out of England in the last year that came even close to "Clerks".
