10/16/1999: Major reasons why this film is shit

Posted By: Qliphoth_Evilbastard

Why is it that when filmmakers from America make a film and set it in 1969 or thereabouts, they seem to want to insist that the whole world had bit the "flower power" bug in those days and everyone walked around in flares? Well, guess what, gang? In 1969, most of England's major industrial cities, Birmingham being the best example, had bomb damage left over from World War II. Non-Catholics in South Vietnam were being confined to concentration camps by a government that tens of thousands of American youngsters died in a thankfully vain effort to defend. So when I see Hollywood and Sony sitting back and telling me to believe that 1969 was the year of peace and free love, I respond by telling them to shove their lies up their arse. This, dear folks, is why Austin Pissface: Mike Myers Needs To Go Back To 1991 And Get His Funniness Back is not getting one red cent from me. Thank you.
