Okay, Maybe it does pander to the lowest common denominator? So what? It was fun to watch, even if was low in quality/talent/depth. Most moviegoers don't understand much about theatrical principles and haven't had much exposure to quality preformances, so they don't a film by the quality, but rather, whether they enjoyed it or not. In a way, they approach it better than the rest of us. It seems to me like people on this forum come down to hard on this movie. "It sucked" is a perfectly reasonable and accurate thing to say about it. "This is a horrible, worthless piece of shit, the antichrist of movies," is a bit different.
