The prequel. The goddamned prequel
It seemed like a good idea at the time (every man can attribute every colossal blunder in life to the phrase "it seemed like a good idea at the time"). Now every movie in Hollywood is either a remake or a prequel. If Hollywood made a successful movie about the First Testament, it would come up with a prequel shortly after.
But don’t get me wrong; I know Lucas is a genius in his own right. He is a trendsetter, but so is the guy who invented crack.
