01/18/07: Hey Mia, what about Sisters of Mercy, Skinny Puppy, and The Cure Goths?

What about those kinda Goths, you know, goups from the eighties, ones from london. What kinda Goths are those?

I've read that those groups are considered Goth, and groups like Nin & Marylin Manson aren't but are usually mistaken or heaped into the same category. What exactly is Goth? I think there was a thing on the Maddox site about it, that one of the major Goth websites had stated that there really wasn't an actual definition for Goth.

You said it was about embracing your dark side, but I think what is considered dark is also debatable, and for one, The Cure doesn't really fit into that category.

So what's the deal, can one be Goth and still wear argyle socks, and blue button down shirt. Is eye makeup a must? Do I need to change anything to be Goth?

Oh, what is the deal with The Information Society?
