...was first a punk and then he was into what he called "death rock"... it was sisters of mercy and bauhaus. He never wore makeup, tho.
Are goth and death rock the same thing? Is that a name he made up? Did death rock evolve into goth? Of course, he never totally gave up his punkness, either. And he was also just psychotic, too. Well, really sociopathic; there's a difference.
