the reason is they are all pissed off. in europe especially countries like norway and sweden there is a huge death metal anti god rising. the reason is they are very very VERY upset at the catholic church for lying to them for so many years and manipulating them into wars they didn't want to really fight in the first place. most of the i hate god music you are thinking of is really targeted at the catholic church. i personally know people who have these types of bands. one band i know in particular is called dimmu borgir. hubby's cousin works in this industry and i get to meet these people from time to time so i can tell you that yes, this is an anger and a feeling of betrayal that goes really deep. i say again, it's mostly in death metal bands. they are in a class by themselves.
