05/14/01: cool chair... and as Theo mentioned...

Posted By: mendo

good job on the chair... a matching thing to prop up one's feets would be neato, too; (do you call them an 'Ottoman' for something as up-town as that chair???)... looks very comfy, too!

and as Theo alluded to, the homepage:

www.rbk-arch.com

made me dizzy... but on the 'Web Design' page, there are some of the coolest web tricks I've ever seen. Whoever wrote the code for the "Waldo Designs" is really, really good... I perfer simple, as any of you who have seen some of my web pages can attest to, but if you're gonna get uptown w/ a web page, this is certainly one way to go... slick stuff indeed.

As a note of interest, the links to 'Slipdream' and 'o8o' are dead... you probably already know this, but it struck me as kind of funny to have dead links on a page displaying your firm's web design prowess...

peace,

.tom

PS If any of you guys who write HTML want to see some trippy coding, right click on the rbk-arch.com home page and hit 'View Source'... this stuff is so far removed from what I do, I'm actually thinking of taking some advanced web design classes... come here, Web Monkey, or, if I ever bothered to pay attention to About.com's Jennifer Kyrnin's stuff that they email me weekly, I'd be at least more knowledgeable about XML, Flash, etc. But I do keep the web pages simple; that's the way my 'clients' perfer it, although I'm thinking of snagging a fancy page and converting it to work as the real estate page I do in partial trade for rent...

ramble on, .tom :) <~~~~~~~obligatory smiley face
