....been spending much of my holiday season catching up on some viewing..
Got the "Band of Brothers" DVD Boxset for christmas.. I'm at the halfway point in the series... I don't think this thing was talked about enough... AWESOME STUFF.. I could honestly sit in a movie theatre for 10 hours straight watching this...When used properly, the Miniseries format appears to be the greatest method to tell a story in a cinematic fashion...You have the time to really flesh out the characters and get to know'em...My one question: How the heck did Jimmy Fallon sneak into an episode??
"The Dead Zone": Being a Canadian, i really had no clue that there was now an ONGOING series based on Stephen King's near-classic novel..I rented the apparent 'pilot' episode this evening from Blockbuster, thinking that it was just a one-shot made-for-tv sort of deal... Found it quite enjoyable... I actually feel the desire to seek out the other episodes from last season and to find a way to watch this CURRENT season.. What's the general consensus of you people out there?
Is the series any good? I read nothing but good things, most places i look...
It's always nice to see Anthony Micheal Hall get some work...
