The Xhosa (or Zhosa) - lived in South Africa. The white men came in, started infringing on their territory, etc. etc.
Their solution was to kill all of their livestock. They were told by their religious leaders that the ghosts of the cows would come and drive the white men off.
It didn't work, and most of them starved to death. There is no way I can respect that culture.
