Second, Mr. Viscount, I thought the current literary thinking about Hemingway was that the whole macho thing was a pose anyway, and that he was gay at heart at the very least. Doesn't matter either way to me, but my dislike of his works has nothing to do with his masculinity or lack thereof, I just don't care for his writing. I don't like Dickens either. It's a matter of taste, not politics.
