08/10/06: We all get burned once in a while

I thought that wasn't even my best caption.

"Once Mel Gibson found out Will was 1/16th Jewish, this was the only way to stay cast in his latest movie."

Captions based on current events usually don't win (or else there would have been about 10 Duke Lacross reference caption winners).

The funniest, most original caption that I saw was

"Why your insurance clause is specific about accidental dismemberment. fellow_consumer"

There were a lot of very funny captions. Many of the first 30 or so were very original and worthy of winning.

I forgot to mention it in my list of top captions, my bad.

I'm feeling a little humble right now because my car broke down on my way to work. I had to take public transportation to work on my busiest day of the week. Talk about Mr Cranky!
