That's because it's his name, not a word. When a guy named John speaks other languages, he doesn't become Juan or Ivan, he's still John. Tarzan knows how to say his name in English because he knows how to say his name.
If you want to nitpick about his name, talk about the ability of apes to give him that name (which would mean they have to pronounce it).
