since Clinton left office. He's by far the best performer on the show, so that's a damn shame. Last week's show had a couple of decent to almost good moments, but this week's was bad in almost every way except for the Cheney-Edwards skit, and Seth Meyers' Kerry. The best thing that could happen is for Kerry to win so Meyers can keep doing him and we can all avoid hearing Forte or anybody else besides Will Ferrell screw up Bush. Frank Caliente on "MADTV" (which repeated last week because of baseball) is by far the best Bush out there right now. Caliente is outstanding in almost everything he does -- especially Madden and the late Rod Roddy. (Speaking of recent dead guys, I was almost freaking out over the Rodney Dangerfield skit, but it quickly became apparent that it was a tribute -- and Hammond was pretty good as him. And speaking of recent dead guys, why wouldn't they have replaced Reagen with Clinton in the X-Presidents skit instead of coming up with that Ron Reagen Jr.-ghosts of ex-ex-presidents crap?)
BTW, I guess as you were flipping around you didn't notice that Fallon was gone and had been replaced by Amy Poehler on the news. MAN, now that is BAD. Well, it just doesn't work. Fey would be better off doing it solo.
