This movie was a sequel to the bomb In The Company of Nice Men. Turns out the original was very boring and totally predictable.
In the Company of Men, however, was a much more interesting story. I loved it. It is not an anti-men movie at all. It's a frank, honest observation of real life. It demonstrates in an all-too-real-its-makes-us-sooo-uneasy way the power men have over women. In counterpoint, it also shows the power that women have over men.
For men its a hard movie to watch because we see ourselves in one of those two guys, neither of which we like.
