This movie was god-awful! I read at least thirty critic reviews including Mr. Cranky before deciding to see this trash. I normally go to the following website which has top shelf movie reviewers all over the world before I invest my money: http://www.mrqe.com/lookup Every ingle critic gave this a high rating, except for Roger Ebert (damn I should have listened).
All that being said, I don't disagree with the premise of the movie or the use of puppets. But what I do disagree with is the rampant juvenile aspects of "said" movie. For example, the 4-minute vomit scene (for what?), the outrages sex scene (which would have been funny, if it were not for the XXX pornography), and lastly the crappy dialogue between the puppets.
The only reason my friend and I stayed throughout the entire movie was to observe the reaction of the white people in the audience. My friend is Asian, and I am a black American. I was appalled and somehow surprised at how the white audience actually thought this sick movie was entertaining! It is definitely a window into the soul of the majority of the US population. It also helps explain why I will never move back to Colorado (the two writers are from CO). And it also explains why the world is so messed up, because these people are running it...
