So I entered that Ayn Rand "The Fountainhead" essay contest. I wrote this brillaint essay on how Rand portrays Howard Roark an uncompromising spirit in the face of conformity who rejects the notion that compromise is essential to life. So brillaint, in fact, that out of 3300+ entries, I was one of 10 third place winners overall to be awarded $1000.
Now here's the punchline, part 1:
I think objectivism is the most bullshit philosophy ever.
Part 2:
I read 300 pages of the 695 page book. Then I skipped to the end.
Part 3:
For winning, I get all of her books free. Yay.
