...but the repeat offenders, the ones who go hardcore young...what of them? Do they get the same "Get Out Of Jail Free" pass that non-violent, one-time offenders get?
Oh, and for the record, punishing people for using or dealing drugs is a bad thing. Oh, I know, BIG DUH, but what, should the government REALLY have that much say in our lives? If a person commits a crime while under the influence, punish AND treat the bastard; but someone who has a couple of joints on a weekend, or does an occasional line of coke, what the hell, neh? What's next-"Obesity is such a problem in Amerika that The Govt. now mandates that Fat and Sugar are now controlled substances"-?
And if you think that that's too far out, remember, this country gets extreme VERY fast...
