I left this movie(or should I say film?) leaving somewhat disappointed, as it wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be. Alot of it seemed predictable and articial, although Dame Maggie was great as always. This seems to be happening with more English and Foreign movies I have seen recently, including "The English Patient"(not so recently) and "Shakespeare in Love." The first part was clever and funny, and then descended to an ordinary romance. I think this downward spiral began with "Enchanted April" and has continued ever since. The only good English movie of recent times that I have seen is "The Winslow Boy" which had very limited release. Now I have to wait for it to come out on video. You can also contact me at my e-mail, patti5@earthlink.net, as this list is so small, a sad testimony to our culture, as the "Sleepy Hollow" list is huge.
