Hi LIZ-ard
Another Aussie update:
The crocodiles and lizards (goannas etc) are protected here. As long as you don't eat any humans and avoid swimming in Darwin Harbour you would be fine. Even then they catch the crocs and take them to the "farm" for breeding. If you are big you would be fine - a stud even. If you are medium size you could end up in a handbag shop in Paris and a Restaurant in Sydney (at the same time).
I think the Aboriginies are allowed to occasionally cook a croc or a lizard too, but that doesn't happen very often and there aren't many Aboriginies. Even they are starting to prefer that horrible scottish restaurant, or a pie from the supermarket.
You could probably find a nice billabong somewhere in the NT/WA where there is nobody but the occasional refugee from the troubles up north and I suspect no one is going to complain if you eat one of them. We do try to discourage refugees.
I am down to half a chapter a night. What ever is the matter with me. When is Morraine going to find out that Siuan is no longer "home"? That should be good, will she be "impeturbable" or "visibly shaken"? No don't answer please I will find out....eventually.
Bunyip
