I agree wholeheartedly with Mr Cranky's review. What was all the fuss about? There wasn't a likeable character among these boring youths in their Scooby Doo van. The disabled guy was annoying and the others were more irritating than the group of campers in the Friday the 13th camp. They aimlessly drove around before ending up like the pigs who jumped off the cliffs in the bible going to their deaths down a trail. The plot was feeble, Leatherface looked like a Slipknot reject and was about as scary as a teletubby. The screaming captive gave me a headache and far from wanting her to get away from this Jerry Springer like family i wanted to get away from her. When she finally escaped i felt impartial and whoever banned this film from entering the U.K needn't have bothered. I jumped at points in this movie, not from fear but laughter. Never since the Evil Dead have i seen a poorer excuse for a horror movie. The censors let us watch Scream which i have to say was more behind the couch worthy than this poor effort.
