i'm sure you've seen the claim at the beginning of the movie about how all that jazz really happened. i had heard so much about this movie ever since i moved to texas; this story is folklore! yeah, it was kind of cheesy in that 70's way but it rocked cause it didn't have to be gory. your imagination tells you what happened to the butchered kids. the sequels that followed never lived up to the original. but i was left wondering three things--whatever happened to the girl who survived, did the family ever get busted, and what happened to the nice, afro-sportin' truck driver who tried to save her?
